Birgu, Malta

On our last day in Valletta we took a short water taxi to the charming town of Vittoriosa, established in medieval times as one of The Three Cities.  Birgu is the original name that was changed to Vittoriosa, meaning victory, but it is commonly referred to as Birgu.  It is a small peninsular town flanked by two bays with LOTS of yachts.  An unbelievable amount of money is floating on these docks.
